Nintendo Wii Fit For Body Balance

As if you didn't know, the Wii Fit is the top seller at the moment with sales soaring so high that sellers are still finding it difficult to keep up with demand. Yet with all this hype and massive sales figures some folk out there are still not fully aware of the benefit that the Wii Fit can bring to your body's balance.

Yes, the Wii Fit is part of the Wii, a console game, but it is also, and mainly an item which helps very much to coordinate sight and body movement.

The Wii Fit is basically a balance board upon which you position your person, and as you carry out the various movements on the board you receive visual feedback from the console so you know exactly how you are doing.

The soccer game for example is where you have to deflect with your head, soccer balls thrown at you (on the screen of course) whilst at the same time shifting the balance of your body correctly so as to be in position to actually hit that ball. Now, at times you may receive a foreign object like a shoe instead and if you accidentally hit that then points are deducted from you, so you really need to be attentive and balance correctly.

I hope you can see how this helps our body balance enormously and just think how that would help us all, and in particular the older folk amongst us. This is precisely why the Wii Fit is now being used in an old peoples' home near my town in South Wales, UK with the council planning to use it in other similar places.

So the Wii Fit is not just for the kiddies, oh no, us adults and even our parents are using it. Good on Nintendo that's what I say.
